How to Order Custom Swim Caps for a Swimming Club
Ordering custom swim caps for a club, school or triathlon group doesn't need to be complicated. Here's what the process actually looks like, and a few things worth thinking about before you request a quote.
Step 1: Decide what you need
Before you get in touch, it's worth working out roughly how many caps you need, including a few spares for new members through the season and any coaches who'd like one too. Ordering a handful extra now is almost always cheaper than placing a second small order in a few months.
It's also worth thinking about whether any of your swimmers would benefit from a long hair fit alongside the standard sizing.
Step 2: Choose your material
One of the most common questions we get asked is which material to choose. Silicone is the right call for regular training, latex suits events and larger budget conscious orders, and Lycra is best for comfort and learn to swim sessions.
Step 3: Send us your artwork
If you've already got club or school artwork, send it over to sales@swimhatco.com. Vector files are ideal, but don't worry if that's not what you have, we can usually work from a good quality image and will flag anything that needs improving before it goes into production.
Step 4: Approve your visual
Before anything is printed, we'll email you a visual of your cap along with a clear price and cost breakdown. Nothing goes into production until you've seen it and signed it off.
Step 5: We print in house
Once you've approved the visual, your caps go into production. Everything is printed in house by our own team, so you're dealing directly with the people making your caps rather than a middleman.
Step 6: Delivery
Standard turnaround is around 3 weeks from approval and payment. If you're working to a tighter deadline, ask about our express service, which can get caps to you in as little as 5 to 10 working days for an additional charge.
