    Polyester is the odd one out in our range because it's fabric rather than rubber, and that changes what it's good at. It won't keep hair dry the way silicone or latex do, but it's soft, stretchy and about as easy as it gets to put on and take off, which matters a lot with younger swimmers.
    That softness is really the whole point. Children who fight a tighter silicone or latex hat tend to get on with polyester without any fuss, and it still keeps hair out of the eyes during a lesson, which is usually all a swim school actually needs it to do. It also happens to be a great surface for print, so mascots, characters and school branding come out bright and colourful, which kids notice more than you'd think.
    If you're kitting out a learn to swim programme, a swim school class or anything involving a lot of small, wriggly heads, polyester is what we'd recommend.

    If you need specific colour prints then please let us know. We have standard colours that we use unless a pantone number or colour sample is provided in which case we try to match as close as possible and a colour sample will be sent for approval If requested before printing.
